Fishermans Bend targeted in this years Victorian Budget

The Victorian government has announced its election year spending in this years state budget. The government budget has emphasised the focus on infrastructure with a record $13.7 billion pledge. Within this pledge a significant focus has been placed on planning and preparation for the Fishermans Bend urban renewal area. Specifically highlighting the need for new schools and transport links.
Work is due to commence on planning for the new Fishermans Bend Secondary school and detailed work on best transport links into the area including light rail and metro rail.
